I’m not going to tell you who I am, I’m not going to tell you where I live. That way my meanderings will be easier to publish.
I love stuff. Lots of stuff. My biggest favourite thing to do is collecting stuff. Not just physical things, like pens, action figures, Monopolys, books, models, and robots, I love collecting knowledge and organising my random thoughts.
So, why this blog? I want to document my life as it is and all the cool stuff I’ve collected over the years and the films and TV shows that I encountered and encouraged me to buy stuff. I also want to look deeper into the subjects and things I did as a child, investigating and compiling information around the topics covered that I didn’t know about when I encountered the topic first time around. Stuff I just accepted. Now I want to know why and what. If I talk about my experience with Blackpool, fully expect to look into some history, Six Million Dollar Man? Expect to look at its creation and inspiration.
Warning, there will be a lot of Star Wars stuff in here.
I’ve got a lot of ideas and things I want to document, like Dalek building, weird stuff I’ve done in the past like being a member of a tech crew at conventions and the weird things you find left behind in the green room, and info on my various collections. Basically to organise my thoughts and put something I can’t put into essay form. I’ll be putting links to videos, photos of things I love and all sorts of random stuff.
Sorry if I’ve missed a credit on a photo, I try my best, send me a nod and I’ll fix it. I’d happily remove it if you want, its a struggle to document the stream of stuff coming out of my head and on to the page. I’m happy for anyone to use any of my original images and photos from my media library.
I will unfortunately for regular readers be updating individual blogs as I find new stuff and add them under particular topics I will post any updates to blogs on my “Update” page so you know when an individual blog has been updated with new information, new confirmed memories or random trivia I thought would be useful.
I plan to document some of my old projects, some new projects and I may yet build that Disney inspired audio animatronics.
For the foreseeable future my Friday updates will mostly be Star Wars related. Anything in between will be random shorter topics I feel I need to get out there. Maybe in the future I’ll do something more Youtube when I’m confident to speak to camera and I get my audio and video to a level I’m happy with.
